My Candy Store

                                                  Oh how exiting I just went to my candy store
                                                                     MY GARDEN
                                                            and look what I picked up.
                                                    red onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and
                                                           little yellow cherry tomatoes.

Patio Visit

                                                      Join me on the patio for a visit

                                            This chandelier was a shinny brass.
                                                  found it at a salvage store for
                                        under $10.00, spray painted it a soft white
                                                 and added some crystals
                                        and hung it on the patio over my table.

Garden

                                  this is my first year at a garden  3-tomato plants, 4 pepper
                                      plants, lettuce, red onions, 1 zucchini, 1- egg plant, 
                                                     and 2 sweet potato plants

                                               Why didn't anyone tell me the zucchini plant
                                                           gets sooooooo big? Its trying so
                                                  hard to take up all the space in the garden.
                                                 I have been blessed with loads of zucchini.

                                                  for something quick I put some slices of it
                                                                 on my little grill.

                                       sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese
                                                           oh so good to eat!!

                                                   Yes I planted a purple pepper plant.
                                                   just couldn't resist when I saw these
                                             at the green house while buying my plants.

                                                      And red onions yum yum!!  
                                                 I'm so enjoying my little garden,

under the patio

sit and relax with me for a while under the patio

impatiens one of my favorite annual flowers

                                                      they so like little sun and lots of water

                                              another bird house I painted to resemble a cow
                                                              I have no idea why

                                                 more hostas and yet another bird house and a
                                                                      teacup bird bath

                                                       teacup bird bath sitting in the hostas
                                                   They are so easy to make all you need is
                                                                      1- old teacup and saucer
                                                                      1-metal dowel
                                                                      2-nuts.
                                                       an electric drill and drill bit for glass.
                                                                 drill a hole in the cup and
                                                   saucer.make sure the cup hole lines up w/
                                                   center of the saucer. screw a nut down the
                                                   dowel about 1-1/2" then add the saucer then
                                                         cup top it of with the other nut.
                                                             see how easy that was.
                                                         you could also put bird seed into the cup
                                                    or a votive candle and set them thru out your
                                                                          landscape

                                             Come with me as I stroll thru the back yard ,
                                                         hope you enjoy the outdoors
                                                                 as much as I do.
                                                    My little angle is enjoying the outdoors,
                                                                 dangling her little feet.

                                               love my trellis? found this for a few bucks in a          
                                                            little vintage shop in Medina
                                          I need to take you along sometime when I go up there.
                                                    I always get inspired when I visit there.

                This is my
              conservatory
I planted my herbs in here  rosemary, basil, and cilantro, when I stick my head in, the aroma is fabulous. notice my little chandelier.

 

                            

                        

   Made it with 4 old forks 8 crystals and some wire                                    

                   I have bird houses setting in among the shrubs as you will see in the nest couple pictures

new walkway

 i love my new walkway off the patio into the lawn.The stone are from a cement slab a neighbor was breaking up and  going to throw away. I told him I will take them off his hands. My husband was not excited about me taking his trash. But now that they are in I think he's loving it to. Best part it didn't cost a dime. I then planted some muzus which is a low growing crawler in patches around the stone in hopes it will grow .
