Bathroom Makeover

                                             My Master bathroom needed a makeover
                                                    so I painted the walls with a
                                                       Benjamin Moore paint
                                                    #1565 Mount Saint Ann  
                                           took down the mirror which had 1 cabinet  
                                        on each side with hearts cut into the door with
                                           chicken wire behind it. and the light fixture
                                           above it was 3 Hollywood style light bulbs.
                                                            YES it was time.

                                        I replaced it with this light fixture from Lowe's

                         
                                            And the mirror is a simple beveled edge mirror

                                                       Very clean and simple. I should
                                                       have taken before pictures but
                                                      forgot . I guess I was to excited
                                                     to get started. I also made a new
                                                   curtain for the window. Took white
                                                  fabric and made panels and used old
                                                    hankies, found at a salvage store,
                                                for a valance.Notice not all the hankies
                                                             match and I like that.

 

I'm looking for some old glass door knobs.

5 to be exact.  I'd like

to use the door knobs as my hooks

 to hang the towels under neath a shelf.

 I went to some salvage shops,

but no luck so far. Guess I'll keep looking.

On the Road

                                              Every morning on my way to work
                                                I head east. The beautiful
                                                    sun shining in my eyes.

   across narrow bridges
 straddling_______plies

  being careful around the curves         

               

going slow over the hills
because I may

 find this on the other side

slowly following buggies up to the top of the hill

loving life in Amish country!

Friends

                                                      While in Florida I was privileged to
                                                         spend time with a friend.
                                                      I'd like to share some pictures of her
                                                                  home with you.

 the contrast between the red wall and the white

Vacation

                                            I was on vacation in Sarasota Fla.
                                                 The beauty of the ocean
                                               the splashing of the waves
                                              So rough but yet so calming.
                                             The sun shimmering on the water.
                                                    The snow white sand.

                                                                  Graceful birds

                                                         
                                                                  prancing in the water.

                                                  I love spending time walking the beach,
                                                   enjoying the beauty and soaking in
                                                             the warm sunshine.

Window Project

                                          I have had this Large 64" x 64" window
                                              sitting on my patio for a long time simply
                                               because I didn't know what I wanted
                                                                 to do with it.

                                        
                                                     I spray painted the glass with
                                                  Krylone Mirror Like Spray Paint
                                                 and the frame I dry brushed white
                                            to leave some of the patina on the frame                         
                                             

                                                    and hung it on my living room wall.

                                                            
                                                                 I love the reflections

                                                          
                                                           and how it opens up the room.
                                                      I like my decision, what do you think?

                                                   my house is small
                                              so to make it appear larger
                                           I have added mirrors thru out
