Spending time with Baylie.
I gave her a choice to bake
Christmas cookies or Peanut butter cookies.
She choose peanut butter cookies.
she added the sugar

and added the eggs
 cracked them and all
  I was so impressed
not a piece of egg shell in the batter

she measured out the soda, and the rest of the
dry ingredients

and put it in the batter

and she tasted it to make sure it was good

we formed little balls and laid them on the
cookie sheet and she pressed them with a fork
in a criss cross pattern.
and put them in the oven to bake

and yes once the cookies were out of the oven
and we were waiting on them to cool off
i braided her hair and we cleaned up.
we poured us a cup of milk
 and tasted the finished cookies.

They were Delicious !!
Thank you for spending the afternoon with me
 Baylie. I enjoyed the day.
and hope you did to.

A New Love

Aprons
Found  this one at a local
thrift store.
It feels so broken in.
Wonder if they are missing it?
I know I'm enjoying it.

I have made some from new fabric
but none feel quite so comfy as this one.
Maybe I need to were them more often
 so they need more washing.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving

Scrubbies / Dishrags

I recently tried to make some scrubbers
so I bought 3 yards of netting and cut it into 1 1/2 "strips

                                                             Which made a Hugh pile

I tied the netting together and knitted it together with
                                                                100% cotton yarn.

                                                                     finished result

I love using it to rinse dishes
it has just enough roughness to
get the grime off of the dishes with
                                                                        little effort.
So far I made 2 of them
                                                                   and use them daily.
                                                              This a small project
I can carry in my purse and
                                                           knit whenever I'm waiting on
                                                    someone or something, or Traveling
or just sitting around watching TV.
I also like to make dish rags and have
made lots of those as gifts and sold a
few. This is also a quick
and easy project that can be taken
                                                                    with you.
here's a few dishrags I have in my knitting basket
